There’s power in the “collective” – by uplifting others so that we all become better… together. We can inspire one another by caring about them, practicing integrity, challenging them, having the courage to show our authentic selves, and the bravery to accept others for who they are. I’d like to think I inspire people daily to live their best lives!
Connect
I’ve been dubbed the Chief Connections Officer (CCO) for years. Just like in The Tipping Point, I consider myself a “connector”. If I can’t help you, I know or will find someone who can. It’s truly an extraordinary knack – and I’m blessed to have it. This goes beyond the traditional form of networking. Connectors have a willingness to help and/or reach out, even if there is no obvious or immediate payback. Within minutes of meeting this stranger (aka connector), you feel like you were once childhood friends. That type of camaraderie isn’t common.

I’m a brand builder. Period. I’m passionate about making brands come to life. I help brands figure out who they are, why they matter, and what’s next! Executing a vision requires courage, creativity, and consistency. If you have those three, coupled with faith, we can build great things together.
Meet Ylorie
My Story
Ylorie Taylor has spent the past decade plus building and leading personal care and beauty brands servicing the multi-cultural consumer. Known for her ability to cultivate relationships, ideate winning strategies, and curate platforms to give exposure to emerging indie brands, Ylorie begin consulting in 2008 under the moniker BrownGirlMarketing. She has dedicated her beauty career to supporting brands and helping companies better connect with women of color. A candid truth teller, wife, mompreneur, and “chief connections officer” for many of your favorite brands, Ylorie lives a very full life. Most days you’ll find her living out her purpose and passions while serving as the Vice President for EDEN BodyWorks.
My Life
A candid truth-teller, wife, mompreneur, and all-around girl next door, there’s no better rah rah girl to have in your tribe than Ylorie Taylor. Known for connecting her audiences with real-life experiences and brand building tips, she recently began sharing the simplicity of balancing it all (aka harmony) while living a full life in New York. Ylorie enjoys working out (hint, cute clothes are an incentive), traveling with her best friend (hubby), hanging with the girls (cue, good food), and steals + deals. You’ll start to see this life manifested via social imagery now that she’s found a photographer who knows all her best angles. Her most important work is spreading love on Instagram – of herself, her hilarious hubby + adorable kids, and across her community!
